LONDON PRIDE
Saturday 1 July 2023
Trafalgar Square
On the Trafalgar Square stage, we will have a BSL interpreter. The screens will have both an interpreter, and a live speech-to-text service.
Leicester Square
For the Women’s stage in Leicester Square we will have a BSL interpreter, an accessible viewing area with seating and accessible toilets.
Golden Square
For the stage in Golden Square we will have a BSL interpreter. Accessible toilets will be available.
BRISTOL PRIDE
24 JUNE - 9 JULY 2023
PRIDE DAY: SAT 8 JULY
Accessibility will be confirmed nearer to the time.
BRIGHTON PRIDE
4TH – 7TH AUGUST 2023
There will be a team of BSL Interpreters at the main stage and at the cabaret tent at Pride in the Park on both days. There will also be a limited number of interpreters at the access tent.

To make performances as accessible as possible, BSL interpreters are present at several of our Gay Village Party stages over Manchester Pride weekend. Interpreters are usually located on the left of our stages. Please check back in the run-up to Manchester Pride Festival 2023 to find details of our BSL Interpreter schedule.

FOREST GAYTE PRIDE- 25TH JUNE

All performances and talks will be translated by BSL interpreters throughout the Pride weekend.

LONDON PRIDE- 2ND JULY
We offer a Parade Safe Space for anyone who identifies as Deaf or disabled or has additional access requirements. Located near the front in a quieter section of the parade, we have a hop-on hop-off wheelchair accessible bus and a fantastic team of trained access volunteers and BSL interpreters. We are also assistance dog friendly.
On the Trafalgar Square stage, we will have a BSL interpreter. The screens will have both an interpreter, and a live speech-to-text service. For the Women’s stage in Leicester Square we will have a BSL interpreter, an accessible viewing area with seating and accessible toilets. For the stage in Golden Square we will have a BSL interpreter. Accessible toilets will be available.
SPARKLE WEEKEND (MANCHESTER) FRIDAY 8TH - SUNDAY 10TH JULY 2022
The Sparkle Weekend main stage will be BSL signed for those D/deaf and HoH.
BRISTOL PRIDE- 9TH JULY
All stages will have BSL interpreters on throughout the day.
There will be support volunteers who know BSL at the main gates, access platform in the main stage arena and the internal Pride info stall near the medics. These volunteers can help with questions that you might have or information about the festival. Our volunteers who know BSL will be in Pink Bristol Pride Tshirts. As requested we have marked a designated deaf meeting point near the info point by the main gates to help meet others.

ISLE OF WIGHT PRIDE- 16TH JULY
We have a number of BSL interpreters on site and they can be identified by their BSL T-Shirts. There will be a BSL interpreter on the Main Stage at all times as well as interpreters at the WI Spoken word tent and Community Stage.
CROYDON PRIDE- 16TH JULY
We set out to make Croydon PrideFest open and free for everyone to attend and enjoy …. and we deliver! From BSL interpreters to a viewing platform and quiet rest tent, we make our festival as accessible and inclusive as possible, including for those with disabilities.
SOUTHEND PRIDE- 16TH JULY

Our main festival on 16th July in Warrior Square park will have an accessible area at the front of stage and we have secured an interpreter, we are looking around for another interpreter so we have full coverage for the day and we also have a signing choir performing.
NORTHERN PRIDE (NEWCASTLE)- JULY 23RD- 24TH

BRIGHTON PRIDE- 6TH & 7TH AUGUST

DONCASTER PRIDE- 6TH AUGUST

We have two BSL interpreters at pride this year. They will be on our two stages throughout the day.
LEEDS PRIDE- 7TH AUGUST
A British Sign Language Interpreter is present on the Sainsbury’s Parade Stage and they will be located on the left as you look at the stage. We don’t have a dedicated area in front of the stage due to available space so we recommend positioning yourself on the left hand side as you look at the stage to enjoy the performances.
WIGAN PRIDE- 13TH AUGUST
Each year we invite British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters on stage at our annual Pride festival, for our deaf and hard of hearing community.
COLCHESTER PRIDE- SAT 13TH AUGUST

We will have BSL interpreting on the main stage, all day.

One of our top priorities is to ensure that our Pride event is as accessible as possible and let everyone know they are welcome.

CARDIFF PRIDE- 27TH AND 28TH AUGUST
We understand that many members of the community require additional support in accessing physical events as well as virtual and to this end all content put forward by Pride Cymru will have both closed captions and BSL interpretations. – In the event a third party does not include CC & BSL they will be added as soon as available and reposted where possible. The platforms we will be using are all screen reader ready.
SOUTHAMPTON PRIDE- 27TH AUGUST
We will have BSL support on our Main Stages throughout the day.
BASILDON PRIDE- 3RD SEPTEMBER

READING PRIDE- 3RD SEPTEMBER

We will have BSL interpreters on the main stage and subtitles on any videos shown to ensure accessibility to the deaf community.
We also offer a priority area at the front of the main stage for wheelchair users to that they can have an unobstructed view (not to be confused with the PridePlus Enclosure which is a ticketed area to raise money).
All blue-badge holders can use the on-site parking marked for traders.
We have Mobiloo on site to support those with specific needs such a hoist to use the toilet since even disabled portaloos are not adequate.
DERBY PRIDE- 10TH SEPTEMBER
Registered British Sign Language Interpreters are provided on the main stage (courtesy of Derby City Council)
MILTON KEYNES PRIDE- 10TH SEPTEMBER

There will be a stall on the day where anyone attending can meet a BSL support worker who will walk around the event with them. Please note this service is provided by volunteers.
Milton Keynes Pride Festival have registered signing interpreters across all performance stages and our community space.
BIRMINGHAM PRIDE- 24TH & 25TH SEPTEMBER
There will be a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter on the main stage and cabaret stage.
PRESTON PRIDE- 24TH SEPTEMBER
There will be a BSL interpreter for the whole event and we are looking into having a screen with subtitles as well.
